Black Orcs are an elite battalion of Orcs formed by the Empress handpicking the most brave and brutal of her warriors.
Their name derives from their black armour and black weapons forged with moon-soot, which is soot and ash that rarely and unpredictably falls from the sky after volcanic eruptions on the larger of the two moons.
They are devoted to Urugdakh, whose axe is said to have struck a moon and caused the first volcanic eruption.
