The Icekin are a society of spellcasters and beasts which perched atop the Imperial mountain ranges. Long ago, wizards climbed the tallest mountain tops drawn by the cosmic energies radiating from the peaks far above the clouds. They quickly made the frozen landscape their home and over time have formed a close bond with their surroundings, more and more becoming one with the Ice.
Long undisturbed and left to roam and feast on birds, small four-legged beasts and winged two-legged drakes eventually allied themselves with the wizards, who thanked them by imbuing them with magic powers.
Ages have past since a Snow Witch or Frost Mage bled red. Like their Ice Beast and Ice Drake brethren, their veins are icy blue.
