Round 85 Changes

Gameplay

  • Factions are now assigned round modes, by default Standard, Standard Duration, Deathmatch, and Deathmatch Duration. Factions are only playable in rounds in game modes available to them.
  • Unit attribute ethereal added to list of unit attributes which makes a unit unconvertible.

Factions

Dimensionalists

  • All units gain +10% casualties per recent invasion sent (in the last 12 ticks).

Revenants

  • Enabled for Deathmatch and Deathmatch Duration rounds.

Spirit

  • Restored! For deathmatch only.
  • Perks:
    • No food consumption.
    • No drafting.
    • -50% construction costs.
  • Resources used: mana, gems, souls.
  • Construction materials: mana, gems.
  • Peasants (Essences) produce 0.12 mana/tick.
  • Units:
    • Wisp: 3/4 — 80 mana, 1 peasant — immortal, converts each enemy casualty into 1 soul.
    • Apparition: 5/3 — 100 mana, 1 peasant — immortal, converts enemy casualties into 1 soul.
    • Phantom: 0/8 — 140 mana, 1 soul — immortal, converts enemy casualties into 1 soul, does not count as population.
    • Spectre: 8/7 — 180 mana, 1 soul — immortal, converts enemy casualties into 1 soul, captures the soul of every fifth displaced peasant, plunders up to 10 souls, does not count as population.

Advancements

  • No changes.

Buildings

  • Gem Mine disabled for Reptilians.
  • New — Pylon (Spirit only): houses 30, no jobs, +0.5% mana production per 1% (max +50%).
  • New — Siftery (Reptilians only): produces 14 gems/tick, increases gem production by 0.40% per 1% (max +40%).
  • Normal Vaults disabled for Reptilians and a Reptilian specific variant created which only protects gold and gems and which are build on swamp.

Decrees

  • No changes.

Deities

  • No changes.

Improvements

  • No changes.

Quickstarts

  • No changes.

Research

  • Income from interest now capped at 1/5 of raw production (down from 1/1).
  • Free Market changed from +20% to +10% raw production from peasants.

Resources

  • No changes.

Spells and Sorcery

  • Harmony duration changed from 48 to 24 ticks. Cost doubled.

Sabotage

  • Partial overhaul.
  • Units are assigned Sabotage Point value:
    • Spies: 1
    • Other units: [Offensive Power] * ([Counts As Spy] + [Counts As Spy On Offense] + [Counts As Spy On Sabotage])
    • A unit with 6 OP and which counts as 0.5 spy has 6*0.5=3 sabotage points.
  • Sabotage ops now have a base damage and the amount of damage actually dealt is calculated as: [Base Damage] * (([Sabotage Point Sent] / [Target Land Size]) / ([Target Defensive SPA] * 10))) * [Saboteur Damage Boosts] * [Target Damage Reductions]
  • Mostly new line-up of ops. See Scribes.
