Round 13 Changes

  • Recap of Barbarian changes: DPA and land gain formula lowered so they will be smaller and weaker.
  • Barbarians now start out a bit smaller.
  • Beastfolk, Myconid, and Growth are now independent. They are randomly placed in Imperial or Commonwealth realms when registering. It’s entirely random for now as I haven’t been able to make it place independent in whichever realm is smaller, yet.
  • Kobold is back as an independent faction. No changes. Open to suggestions.
  • Armada and Imperial Gnome super units restriction to Docks/Factories also checked when sending out.
  • Interest is now calculated separately so that platinum production bonuses do not apply.
  • Storage maximums are introduced for platinum, lumber, ore, and gems.
    • Platinum: max 5,000 plat/acre.
    • Lumber: max 4,800 lumber per Lumberyard.
    • Ore: max 5,760 ore per Ore Mine. 
    • Gems: max 1,440 gems per Diamond Mine.
  • “Technology” renamed “Advancements”.
  • “National Bank” renamed “Exchange”.
  • Base damage for Fireball and Lightning Bolt lowered from 1% to 0.75%.
  • New faction: Simian
    • Alignment: Independent.
    • Spy strength: +10%.
    • Wizard strength: -10%.
    • Construction costs: -20%.
    • Extra barren pop: 15.
    • Tech costs: +10%.
    • Cannot train Arch Mages.
    • Improvement points from lumber: +50%.
    • Chimpanzee: 3/0 – 200p: -1% offensive casualties against every 0.5% forest of target (max 80% reduction).
    • Bonobo: 0/3 – 200p: -1% defensive casualties per 1% forest (max 80% reduction).
    • Orangutan: 4/7 – 1,200p: -1% defensive casualties per 1% forest, -1% offensive casualties against every 0.5% forest of target (both max 80% reduction).
    • Gorilla: 7/4 – 1,200p: -1% defensive casualties per 1% forest, -1% offensive casualties against every 0.5% forest of target (both max 80% reduction).
    • Spell: Rainy Season: +100% defensive power, +50% food production, +100% population growth, cannot invade or explore, no boat or mining production. Lasts 96 ticks (24 hours) and has a cooldown of 168 hours.
  • The Second Legion is formed. (I always meant for Legion to rotate units from time to time. This is the second iteration.)
    • Reanimated: 2/2 – 0p: cannot be trained, does not count as population, returns 2 ticks faster.
    • Demon: 4/4 – 820p, 80r: -50% casualties, +0.01 OP per 1% military.
    • Lycanthrope: 4/4 – 820p, 80r: converts casualties into Reanimated, +0.01 OP per 1% military.
    • Icekin: 4/4 – 820p, 80r: counts as 1/10 wizard (offense and defense), +1 OP per 1 WPA (max +2 OP).
  • Changes to Growth:
    • Specs are now 0.5/0 and 0/0.5 for 65 food each.
    • Cyst is 0/1 for 150 food, with food and mana production cut in half.
    • Ulcer is 1/0.5 for 160 food.
    • Tissue (building) changed from housing 120 to housing 180.
  • Dimensionalist Portal spell changed back to 6 hours from 9 hours.
