The Independent are a factions which have left the Commonwealth or Empire or that were never affiliated with either. They make up a small but formidable force, ranging from those seeking freedom and sovereignty to those exploring this world or this reality for the very first time.
They have not formed a cohesive union of any kind but they do fight together for their own and each others independence.
